The Agricultural Economist invites contributions for our June edition, focusing on "Cultivating Resilience: Health, Equity, and Sustainability in Agriculture".
This month’s theme is inspired by global observances that emphasize the crucial link between agriculture, environmental stewardship, public health, and inclusive growth. We welcome articles that explore innovative, policy-relevant, and community-centered approaches to making agriculture a driver of resilience and equity.
Suggested Topics (Aligned with Global Observances):
World Bicycle Day (June 3): Rural mobility, access to markets and healthcare
World Environment Day (June 5): Agroecology, pollinator protection, regenerative farming
World Oceans Day (June 8): Sustainable fisheries and aquaculture
World Day Against Child Labour (June 12): Ending child labor in agri-value chains
World Day to Combat Desertification (June 17): Drought resilience and land restoration
World Refugee Day (June 20): Agricultural livelihoods for displaced populations
MSME Day (June 27): Empowering agri-SMEs for inclusive rural growth
We welcome research/review-based articles, policy briefs, case studies, and expert opinions relevant to these topics. Submissions should be insightful, data-driven, and offer practical recommendations for policymakers, researchers, and rural communities.

📜 Word Limit: 1500–2000 words, similarity and AI content should be less than 15% and 5% respectively.
We encourage submissions from academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. Selected articles will be featured in our December issue, reaching an audience dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture and rural development. You may also point out which section your publication falls in:
· Spotlight: Issues of urgent attention related to Rural Economies
· Rural Communities: Social, economic, business, ethical issues, etc.
· Rural Finance: Financial products related to rural areas
· Policy Briefs: Based on research outcomes, policy briefs in simple language for the policy makers
· Rural Innovation: Any scientific matter related to rural economies.
· Public Health Economics: Health related issues in rural areas
· Food and Nutrition: Issues and innovation related to food and nutrition aspects
· Expert Insights Hub: YouTube video links are embedded in this section related to the above sections which will directly play from your YouTube Channels.
· Grooming for Growth: Personal and professional growth for the youth of rural areas, both articles and video links are published / embedded.
