Will future generations resemble who we are today, or will they be fundamentally changed by biotechnological enhancements? An example that exemplifies these advancements is the development of next-generation brain-machine interfaces capable of brain-to-text communication through miniaturized silicon chips. Such technologies could revolutionize healthcare for individuals suffering from ALS, locked-in syndrome, or spinal cord injuries. However, these innovations also signal the need to redefine productivity, health, and economic models as biotechnological applications become more integrated into daily life.
